All throughout high school I was back and forth trying to figure out what I wanted to do for the rest of my life, many thoughts occurred but the only one that truly stuck was going into cosmetology school. On the side I had been doing event hair and makeup and that experience lead me to realize this really is something I want to do with my life. It was something I enjoyed doing. I not only decided to go into cosmetology, but to make bigger plans in regards to my current plan which ties into Ivory Lane later down the road. So with that I attended Hinds Community College online while working a full time job and graduated with an associates degree in Business Management and Technology in the spring of 2023. Throughout my last year of college I made the decision to get a jumpstart into my business plan while attending cosmetology school. I spent all of 2023 leading up to the start of cosmetology school preparing for the launch of Ivory Lane LLC. It was definitely a learning experience and I'm fortunate enough to have the help and motivation from everyone around me! I am extremely grateful to have this kind of opportunity at my age to be able to create a platform welcoming to people of all ages and sizes, and to make you feel confident in your own skin!
